Tips on extensions, apps, and more!

Extensions:Show up as icons inside the address bar, or to the right of the address bar.  They allow you to do cool things quickly! Extensions enhance a website and can be used across websites.
Apps: Are direct-linked to web-based programs. You usually gain add functionality. They run inside your browser.  Apps don't combine with other apps, they stand alone.

  •  Dualless- This is a really cool extension that you can add at the Google store.  It allows you to split your browser window into two so they are side by side and each window can be manipulated separately.  Check it out!
  • Awesome Screenshot-This is one of my favorite extensions that allows you to take a screenshot of any webpage, add annotations, copy and past or save it.
  • Ghostery-This extension lets you view and block trackers.  It will show you them at the bottom of your screen.

  • Caffeine-An extension that gives your Chromebook the juice to stay awake!

  • Diigo-This is an etension for annotating, archiving and bookmarking web pages.

                   Great Apps to Try!!

  • Lucidpress is an app that helps you create stunning print and digital newsletters, fliers and more. Request a free educator account.

Other great Tips!!
  • Drag and Drop-If you are looking for an image for Google Drawings, once you find the image just click and drag it to the top where the tab is and Draw will open and you can just drop it onto your canvas without the need to copy and paste.
